Officers Investigate After 2 Pedestrians Hit in Separate Incidents in Myrtle Beach

In Myrtle Beach, police are investigating after two pedestrians were struck by vehicles in unrelated incidents yesterday afternoon. The incidents happened around the same time, one on Highway 15 near Sessions Street which involved an off-duty city employee who was not a police officer according to Myrtle Beach Police Master Corporal Tom Vest. The other happened in Market Common near King’s Highway where officers responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a bicycle. The person’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
