President Biden Takes Part in Wreath Laying Ceremony in Washington D.C.
In honor of Veterans Day, President Biden paid a visit to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier today. The procession route began at the main gates of Arlington National Cemetery and ended on the tomb’s east side, near the Roosevelt fountain. The President laid a wreath in honor of the holiday and the site’s 100th anniversary. A joint flyover, with a formation from each service branch took place as well. Major General Allan Pepin, joint task force-national capital region commander said “today’s 100th commemoration represents all service members and honors the unknown heroes who lie here, warriors who made the ultimate sacrifice”.
