Why Making Up is Easy to Do

Some couples argue just to kiss and make-up. And science says it's good for you (or at least the kissing part)

The reason some couples argue could just be to kiss and make-up! There’s science behind that too.  There’s a reason they call it kissing and making up.  Kissing releases chemicals like oxytocin, dopamine and serotonin.  Oxytocin is the chemical linked to pair-bonding which is why it’s nicknamed the “the love hormone.”  These increased endorphins make us feel good, which aids in feelings of attachment.  And maybe we should do it more often because it also builds our immune system!  For every 10 seconds you kiss, you pass along 80 million bacteria.  That may sound gross but it forms a mix of living bacteria in you and your partner, making you both better prepared against infections.
