Do Step Counters Help You Lose Weight?

This study found those who wore one, on average, lose the most weight.

A study out of the University of Minnesota found that the digital devices, like Apple watches and Fitbits can lead to people shedding some weight.  Nearly 2,500 people were studied while wearing some sort of tracker for 12 weeks.  Those who used step counters lost the most with an average of nine pounds.
