SC Man Transforms Junk Vehicles to Help Community – Pay it Forward

After discovering many in his community were without transportation, Eliot Middleton began fixing up old cars and gifting them.

Eliot Middleton had an idea one day on his way to work at Middle and Maker Village BBQ.  His family owns the restaurant located in the low country where they also hold food drives for families. Middleton noticed many were walking miles to pick up food.   After realizing many elderly and single parents were without transportation he began to explore how he could help further.  Next thing you know he is fixing up old cars into drivable ones and gifting them.  He now gets cars that are headed to junk piles, and makes them whole again and giving them to those who need it.  So far he has fixed up $50,000 in repairs from tires to engines.  He formed his own charity and that’s on top of helping run the restaurant.
