Florence Community Comes Together to Help Area Bounce Back

Business leaders in Florence called Leadership Florence formed a project to help their town recover from the pandemic.  Their latest fundraiser is an online auction in which those who make a donation in any amount are entered to win prizes such dinner downtown, gift cards and even a stay at a local boutique hotel.

A group of community and business leaders in Florence called the leadership Florence class formed a project to help their town recover from the pandemic.  They have collected items and held fundraisers to support three local nonprofits Hope Health, The Manna House, and United Way of Florence County.   In doing so, their latest fundraiser is an online auction in which those who make a donation in any amount are entered to win prizes such as a night’s stay at the boutique hotel Hotel Florence and dinner at Victor’s.  Baskets and gift cards were also donated by businesses.  To enter, visit their Facebook @Greater Florence Chamber.
