Revised Open Carry Bill Passes in Senate
Under the new version of the bill, people who have concealed weapons permits and also undergo training and background checks can carry guns hidden under a jacket or clothing.
Yesterday the State Senate passed the Open Carry bill. Under the new version of the bill, people who have concealed weapons permits and also undergo training and background checks can carry guns hidden under a jacket or clothing. The legislation was debated for days and finally passed in a third reading with a 28 to 16 vote. Now, the bill will head back to the house of representatives for consideration and if passed will head to Governor McMaster.
