Marion and Georgetown Counties Among Lowest of COVID Cases

Marion and Georgetown counties are the first regions to move to a low incidence rate for Covid-19.


Two counties in our area have the least amount of Covid cases in Eastern South Carolina. Marion and Georgetown counties are the first regions to move to a low incidence rate for Covid-19. This rate is determined by how many new, confirmed cases have been diagnosed within the last two weeks. Most other counties in our area remain at moderate. As of yesterday the state’s totals are 483,975 confirmed cases.
