Apparently we gossip a whole lot more than we think. A new study out of Dartmouth College found that about 14% of our conversations are gossip.
That includes conversations happening over Zoom. That means one out of every seven things we say is potentially gossip. Research found its not all bad. Most of our gossip is neutral. The report indicates often our goal with talking about others isn’t to put someone down, but to bond and connect with people.
