One Injured in Active Shooting Near Conway

One person was injured after an active shooting situation on highway 544 near Conway Thursday. The victim was treated at the scene and released. The Horry County Police Department took the suspect Terry Brady into custody following the incident. He has no known charges in South Carolina but, according to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Brady had been convicted of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, larceny and escape from confinement on August 3, 1999, in McIntosh County. He was sentenced to 10 years and released on September 27, 2008. The Horry County Police Department and Horry County Fire Rescue is investigating.
