Local Couple Turns Fun into Funds for Autism Awareness

Autism Awareness is something that prompted donna and her husband Lenny to take action. This story comes to us from our Pay it Forward movement on Carolina A.M. Twice a year they get friends together for a PA bus trip to shop and eat, for a good cause. They donate all the money spent to Autism awareness. Donna has two family members on the spectrum. She says unless you have lived through it, it’s hard to understand this lifetime challenge. Donna and Lenny live in Murrells Inlet. They shared this story with audra.
