How to be Calm as a Navy Seal
Watch Greg and Audra weekdays at 9 a.m. on Carolina AM
You can master calm in the same way a trained navy seal does using the breath. They call it tactical breathing. The method focuses on slowing the breath by breathing in through the nostrils for 4 seconds, holding for 4 second, then exhaling for 4. Hold for 4 and repeat as many times as needed until calm. The seals use it to force the vagus nerve to slow the heart rate. For more information, click here.
