Where You Shouldn’t Skip the Sunscreen

When spending time outdoors together make sure to protect everyone’s noggin.  The scalp is often forgotten about when applying sun protection.  Dermatologist say it should be the first place we put it as it gets a direct hit from the sun and can penetrate deeper into the rest of the body. Our scalps burn just like the rest of our bodies. If you’re finding flakes it may be from peeling.  Overtime it can affect hair growth.  Wear a hat that has UV cloth protection or simply apply sunscreen into your head.  There are sunscreens made specifically for the head.   Many are brush-on translucent powders.  One is featured in today’s Amazon segment.
