SCDNR Opens New Boat Titling and License Office in Aynor

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in Aynor for a brand new South Carolina Department of Natural Resources boat titling and license office. Now, residents of the Palmetto State who want to get a title for their boats or get a hunting or fishing license will no longer have to travel to Charleston or Columbia to do so. SCDNR said there are about 450,000 vessels registered in the state and nearly 20 percent are in Horry County and the greater Pee Dee region. Because of that, opening a new office for Horry County and its surrounding counties made sense. The new office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It’s located on 9th Avenue by the Aynor Library.
