Fast-Paced Walking Linked to Longevity

As seen on Carolina AM

If you want to live longer you might want to pick up your pace.  According to research done on cancer prevention, a fast-paced stroll on a daily basis increases survivors’ longevity.  They came to the conclusion after studying over 230,000 people for several years. A similar study done in 2019 says brisk walkers who take about 100 steps a minute have a longer life expectancy than those strolling at 50 steps a minute. Overall, health experts say both cancer survivors and non-cancer patients who put a little pep in their step will feel healthier.
