Seaweed Brings a Nutritional Punch to the Table

March is National Nutrition Day.  When it comes to choosing which foods will give you the most nutritional punch, choose these. Fish such as salmon contain the greatest amount of omega 3s fatty acids. Eat fatty fish at least once or twice a week. Shellfish and sardines are also great options. Of all the leafy greens, kale and spinach are great. And this one may surprise you.  Seaweed is loaded with with compounds with anti-inflammatory properties. Eating a it a few times a month can give you a healthy dose of iodine. Potatoes have almost every nutrient you need, are filling, and when cooled form an extra fiber punch.  Blueberries come loaded with anti-oxidants with all kinds of health benefits including improved memory.
