Lawmakers in South Carolina are pushing to make curbside alcohol pickup permanent at some businesses in the Palmetto State. If passed, people could order online then drive up to some grocery stores, retail chains, as well as big box stores, to make their pickup. A proposed bill would permanently allow businesses to drop off alcohol, beer, and wine right to the back of your vehicle. Employees of stores would of course have to check IDs though. Those that support it say it would take a load off customers who don’t want to take children inside. Right now, more than half the states in the U.S. permanently allow curbside alcohol pickup.
