Construction of New Myrtle Beach Surf, Skate Park to Begin This Year

Work on the new surf and skate park coming to Myrtle Beach continues! American Surf Parks has just released new photos of the future project as they prepare to begin construction on the park and amphitheater sometime this year. It will also have climbing walls, a child care center and more. The project, which will take up 20 acres of land between the Sports Center and Grissom Parkway, will cost approximately $41 million to build and will bring in an estimated $450,000 a year. The company already has a 15-year lease with the City Council.
