Bond Granted for Two Accused in Killing of Man in Horry County

Bond has been set for two people accused of murder in Horry County. Gregory Rice was missing for about a month before his body was discovered a few weeks ago. 37-year-old Christopher Dontell, who worked as an Horry County deputy coroner around the time Rice went missing, was charged alongside 35-year-old Meagan Jackson. It’s believed the two were having an affair. Dontell had kids and a wife of nine years, while Jackson and Rice shared multiple children. Dontell’s bond was set at $125,000 with Jackson receiving $100,000. Their release did include numerous strict stipulations.
