Marion County Authorities Search for Missing, Endangered Family

Staying in Marion County, authorities there are also seeking the public’s help in locating a missing and endangered family. According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Leslie and Barbara Clemmons are the biological parents of four children. However, they do not have legal custody and appear to have fled with the children to avoid court action. Investigators say twelve-year-old Leslie IV, 10-year-old Brady, 8-year-old Deborah “Hattie Jean,” and 3-year-old Patricia “Carly” are believed to be in “imminent and substantial danger.” Authorities think the Clemmons’ may have traveled up the east coast and are now possibly as far west as South Dakota. Anyone with information is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency.
