25 South Carolina School District Reopening Plans Approved So Far
25 school district plans have now been approved by the state Superintendent of Education. Darlington County schools’ back-to-school plans were the first to be approved in the Grand Strand and Pee Dee areas. They will resume schooling on September 8th. It will include in-person instruction as well as enhanced e-learning. Their hope is to start with in-person classes five days a week, but it could evolve into a hybrid of both depending on the pandemic. Not on that list, is Florence School District 3 whose reopening plans were rejected since they did not initially allow for the option of face-to-face learning.
