SC Reports Another Record-Breaking Increase of COVID-19 Cases

South Carolina saw 1,741 new confirmed coronavirus cases yesterday, another record-breaking single-day high. DHEC reported 17 more people also died, bringing the statewide total to 735 people with 36,297 cases. It’s also been announced that now 200 Virginians who tested positive for COVID-19 did so following a trip to the Myrtle Beach area. Several Pee Dee hospitals have stressed their patient numbers have been increasing rapidly, however they have not reached maximum capacity. Those in charge have said they already have plans in place in case they were to exceed that capacity.
