Myrtle Beach Leaders Consider Canceling Fireworks Show

Myrtle Beach leaders are once again considering canceling the 4th of July fireworks show. This comes less than a week after they confirmed the show would take place which had previously been canceled. The Myrtle Beach Pelicans recently announced the cancellation of their firework show, concert, and movie event. Tickets will be refunded. Mayor Brenda Bethune is currently consulting with the city council on the issue. If they decided to move forward as planned, the fireworks display will take place July 4th at 10 p.m. from the 2nd Avenue Pier.
