There’s No Spitting in Baseball!
After 3 months of negotiations, major league baseball is set to move forward with the 20-20 season!
Players will arrive at training camps next Wednesday as they prepare for a 60 game season that will begin in late July and the boys of summer will have to adhere to a new set of rules! Pitchers are not allowed to lick their fingers for a better grip… instead they’re allowed to carry a “wet rag” to moisten them. Spitting is out, too. No peanuts, tobacco or sunflower seeds allowed. Also, a player or manager coming within 6 feet of an umpire to argue a call is subject to suspension.
