Ohio State Football Players Charged with Rape, Kidnapping
Two Ohio State football players were arrested and charged for felony rape and
kidnapping yesterday. 21-year-olds Amir Riep and Jahsen Wint allegedly committed the assault on February 4th in an apartment building in Columbus. It’s believed Riep and the unnamed woman started off having consensual sex but shortly after she wanted to stop. Wint then entered the room and they held her down and sexually assaulted her. Afterwards, they took a video of the crying woman and told her to say her name and that she consented. It’s reported they were laughing at her in the video. In addition to two felonies, rape with threat of force, and kidnapping to engage in sexual activity, the men have also been kicked off the team. Wint’s lawyer claims he was wrongfully accused and says “he is an outstanding student athlete. respectful and law-abiding” with nothing to hide.
