Experimental HIV Vaccines Leave Doctors Feeling Optimistic

New experimental HIV vaccines are leaving doctors feeling optimistic. Three vaccines known as HVTN 702, Imbokodo and Mosaico are currently entering the next stages of their experimental trials after a series of promising test results. Each vaccine contains multiple rounds of injections and take some time to administer and while doctors are more hopeful than they have been in over thirty years, the trial phase still has years to go before the drugs can produce efficient results.
Doctors warn there is always a chance for things to go wrong. Researchers and medical professionals hope to find a cure but realize that may not be possible. However, we currently have enough preventative medicines to stop the spread as long as people would and could choose to use them.
