Chef Jamie’s Guacamole

Avocados, ripe 3

Fresh cilantro, chopped fine 1/4 cup (measure before chopping)

Red bell pepper, chopped small 1/3 cup

Jalapeños, seeds removed  about 1/2

chopped fine

Juice of lemon or lime 1/2 lemon or lime

Red onion, chopped fine 3 tablespoons

Hot sauce 1/4 teaspoon

Kosher salt 1/8–1/4 teaspoon

Black pepper 1/8 teaspoon

Garlic salt 1/4 teaspoon

  1. Cut the avocados in half, and remove the core, reserving 2. Using a spoon, scoop out all the “meat” and gently mash in a small bowl.
  1. Prepare all the vegetables and cilantro, and add to the avocado. Mix in the seasoning and lemon or lime juice.
