Irma Weakens To Tropical Storm

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WFXB) – Hurricane Irma has weakened into a still-dangerous tropical storm. The remnants of Hurricane Irma swept north through Florida on Monday, leaving behind a trail of debris, flooding and power outages after the storm roared up the state’s Gulf Coast and brought its drenching rainfall and battering winds on toward Georgia. The National Hurricane Center says Irma’s impact will reach as far north as Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and South Carolina today.
