Panthers to Sign Defensive Tackle Paul Soliai

CHARLOTTE, NC (WCCB Charlotte) — The Panthers have found some depth for the middle of their defensive line.

Paul Soliai will sign a reported two year deal worth $7 million. The news of Soliai to the Panthers was first reported by Soliai’s agent on Twitter.

Soliai, 32, is a 6’4”, 345-pound defensive tackle who played the last two seasons in Atlanta. Soliai recorded 22 tackles and no sacks in 14 games last season. Soliai was named to the Pro Bowl in 2011 when he was with Miami.
