VIDEO: Panthers Wrap up Final Practice in Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, NC (WCCB Charlotte) — Nine days before Super Bowl 50 and the Panthers are showing no signs of dance-fatigue.
The Panthers again showed their personality on Friday morning at the practice field with spontaneous dancing breaking out during the team’s stretching portion of practice.
The ‘stay-loose’ and ‘keep-the-personality’ narrative is certainly alive and well.
Panthers safety Tre Boston says Fridays are usually a stand-out dance day for him.
“That’s my part. Every Friday they know I go and dance,” Boston said. “I just have to do my part.”
The team did get solid work in with Friday being a ‘pads-day’.
“It wasn’t collisions. It was more about getting the feel of the pads on knowing mentally what we’re going out there to do,” safety Kurt Coleman said.
“You don’t get to this point to lose your mind and lose your preparation,” defensive end Jared Allen said. “You have to focus at the task at hand, prepare and keep your same routines.”
“It’s just another step in the process for us,” wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery said. “We’re always trying to do what we can to get better.”
Panthers center Ryan Kalil returned to being a full participant in practice. Thomas Davis and Jonathan Stewart were limited and neither had on full-pads.
