Panthers’ Cam Newton Named MVP & Offensive Player Of Year By PFWA
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has been voted the 2015 NFL Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year by the Professional Football Writers of America, according to a story on the team’s website.
In the regular season, Newton threw 35 touchdown passes, ran for 10 rushing touchdowns and accrued 3,837 passing yards.
Newton’s play helped his team go 15-1 during the regular season as well as have home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
