Carolina Panthers To Host 13th Annual Weekend Warrior Flag Football Tournament

Charlotte, N.C. — The Miller Lite Weekend Warrior Flag Football Tournament will be held on April 16-17, 2016 at Bank of America Stadium and the team’s practice fields. The Carolina Panthers are hosting the event for the 13th time. The two-day tournament is non-contact and for ages 21 and older. The event features four skill divisions: Weekend Warrior, Couch Potato, 35 and Over, and Co-Ed.

Tournament proceeds will benefit the USO of North Carolina. The registration fee is $360 per team and the registration deadline is March 11, 2016. The tournament has sold out every year and is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so teams are encouraged to register quickly.

Rules and frequently asked questions

The tournament format is four-on-four with rosters comprised of a maximum of six players (four players plus two substitutes). All teams are guaranteed to play at least three games during pool play on the first day of the tournament. Half of the teams will advance to Championship Day, which will be a single-elimination format.  Division champions will receive championship rings.
