Carolina Panthers Sign Six Players To Future Contracts

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers signed six players to future contracts with the team.

The six players are wide receiver Cobi Hamilton, guard Tyler Larsen, center Matt Masifilo, defensive end Larry Webster, defensive tackle Eric Crume and cornerback Travell Dixon.

Future contracts allow NFL teams to sign players for the next season.  Players who are not on active rosters currently in the NFL are allowed to be signed.

Hamilton played college football at Arkansas and was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2013 draft.

Larsen played college football at Utah State.  He signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2014.

Masifilo played college football at Stanford.  He was signed to the active roster of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2012.

Webster played college football at Bloomsburg.  He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL draft.

Crume played college football at Syracuse.  He signed as a free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2015.

Dixon played college football at Washington.
