Ref Tries To Stop Cam Newton From Giving Away Football

NEW ORLEANS, L.A. — No one will stop Cam Newton from giving footballs to fans.

After completing a 13-yard touchdown pass on Sunday,Â Cam Newton tried to grab the football and hand it to a group of Panthers fans. One referee, however, didn’t seem too keen on the idea.

When Newton approached the ref for the football, he turned and threw the ball in the opposite direction. The video can be seen below.

Cam didn’t let this stop him. Seemingly unbothered, he retrieved the ball and brought it to the fans.

This isn’t the first time someone has played keep-away with Cam. Julius Peppers tried to stop Newton from giving his football away after he scored on the Packers.

The Carolina Panthers went on to beat the New Orleans Saints 41-38. Take that, ref.
