Panthers Release Eight Players
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — On Sunday the Panthers announced the release of eight players including the veteran Tony Hills.
The team must be trimmed to 75 by Tuesday at 4 p.m. The deadline for the 53 man roster is due by Saturday at 4 p.m.
The following eight players were released:
WR Paul Browning and Avius Capers
DE Steve Miller
LB Kevin Reddick
TE Dallas Walker
FB Lee Ward
P Matt Wile
OT Tony Hills
LBÂ Kevin Reddick was the only one who had played a regular season games with the Panthers. WR Avius Capers is a graduate from Independence High School and Johnson C. Smith.
