BETH THOMAS – UNDERWATER HEROES: LIFE IN THE SALT MARSH
Just down the road in Georgetown there is a beautiful place called an estuary, known to locals as a salt marsh. Our coastal economy thrives on what happens there. Do you like to eat shrimp? Thank the salt marsh. Beth Thomas, estuary wanderer and people person, is going to come out and entertain us on Friday, September 18 at 3:30 PM – with hands-on examples of life in the salt marsh and a livestream video of the waterfront! For more information, please visit the library or call Kerrie Bethel at (843) 386-2052.
