Horry County Gullah Geechee Festival

Enjoy presentations, panel discussions, food, fun and a musical celebration of the Gullah Geechee culture at the annual Horry County Gullah Geechee Festival in Little River, SC. Beginning Friday August 7th at 6pm and continuing Saturday August 8th at noon, the festival will feature local experts, distinguished elders, children’s games, food and souvenir vendors and the presentation of the film project “The Inheritage.” The event is free and open to the public, and will continue Sunday August 9th with a worship service at 11am at the CB Berry Historical Center & Vereen Memorial Gardens.
