Gettleman: Stephen Hill Will Attend Training Camp Despite Drug-Related Citation

SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Panthers’ general manager Dave Gettleman says Stephen Hill’s citation for possession of drug paraphernalia won’t keep him from making the team.

Gettleman says Hill was very remorseful and the team will let Hill participate in training camp despite the citation.

Hill was charged Tuesday in Concord.  Police say he was issued citations for failure to wear a seatbelt and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hill played on the Panthers practice squad in 2014 and is fighting for a receiver position on the team.
