Free Legal Clinic – Domestic Violence Clinic

Tuesday, August 11, 2015 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Admission: FREE An attorney from the South Carolina Legal Services office and an officer of the Myrtle Beach Police Department will be here to discuss domestic violence. This presentation will be in an open forum and questions will be accepted. Some topics to be covered: •What is domestic violence? •What happens when charged with Criminal Domestic Violence? First and subsequent offenses. • Obtaining an Order of Protection. • Divorce based on Physical Cruelty. • Child custody when domestic violence occurs. Registration is appreciated, not required.
