New Fox Shows 2015-2016

FOX has announced some of their exciting new series coming to prime-time for the 2015-2016 season. ALL-NEW Tuesdays begin with “Grandfathered”, starring John Stamos, who plays a bachelor that sees his life turned upside-down after he finds out he is not only a father, but also a grandfather. “The Grinder” starring Rob Lowe and Fred Savage will also run on Tuesday nights. “The Grinder” follows a famous TV lawyer who moves back home after his TV series is cancelled. Rob Lowe’s character attempts to work at his brother’s (Fred Savage) law firm, even though he has no experience. “Scream Queens” features a star-studded cast on Tuesdays as well. The show stars Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Oliver Hudson, and Keke Palmer. The series is labeled as “comedy-horror” and will feature at least one casualty a week until the mystery is solved. TWO NEW dramas will also premiere on FOX–the first, Minority Report, debuts this fall and is based on Stephen Spielberg’s blockbuster film. It stars Stark Sands and Meagan Good and follows their journey after they’re haunted by her past. The other new drama on FOX is Rosewood. Rosewood follows a pathologist (Morris Chestnut, “Nurse Jackie”) who uses very sophisticated technology to live his life to the fullest as a tough detective. THE X-FILES will return to FOX with a special two-night event Sunday January 24, following the NFC Championship Game. EMPIRE will return to FOX on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. NEW GIRL will return to FOX in January with “virtually-uninterrupted originals” AMERICAN IDOL will begin its final season in January 2016.
