This year we have an 80’s theme and our Relay teams will be part of the performance. In addition, there’s a Womanless pageant with evening wear and talent, a men’s high heel run, Zumba, line dancing, bounce houses, photo booth, bra pong, dunking booth, and lots of good food, singing, and dancing. The Opening Ceremony begins at 12 noon followed by the Survivor lap, Caregiver lap, and Team Lap. All cancer survivors and caregivers are invited to participate.. please arrive at 11am and register at the Survivor Tent. At 10:00 PM our special Luminaria Ceremony begins. It is a time to remember people we have lost to cancer, to support people who currently have cancer, and to honor people who have fought cancer in the past. During the luminaria ceremony, the bags will be lit so that the names and decorations on the bag will be clearly visible. Each bag represents a person and a story of someone affected by cancer and are available for a $10 donation until 6pm the day of the event. So, bring you walking shoes and come for the party, but stay for the Cure.
