Carolina Panthers’ Mike Tolbert Out Against Ravens, Stewart And Davis Also Injured
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers will go into Sunday’s game against the Ravens without running back Mike Tolbert and possibly Jonathan Stewart.
Both running backs were injured during Sunday night’s game against the Steelers. Head Coach Ron Rivera says running back DeAngelo Williams should be able to play against the Ravens.
Williams has missed the last two games due to a hamstring injury.
The Panthers recently signed Darrin Reaves from the team’s practice squad after Williams was injured.
Tolbert has a hairline fracture in his leg. Stewart left Sunday’s game with a sprained knee. Linebacker Thomas Davis was also injured. However, coaches did not elaborate on the extent of his injury.
The Panthers will travel to Baltimore and play the Ravens at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
