= South Strand Optimist Club’s “Excellence in Musical Accomplishments” Program

The South Strand Optimist Club will hold its’ first youth recognition program at its’ monthly meeting on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Applewood House of Pancakes, 14361 Ocean Highway, Litchfield, SC 29585 (next to Bi-Lo at the Commons Exchange Center in the Litchfield Beach area). This program will recognize musically gifted middle/intermediate school students in grades 6 – 8 in public and private schools in the South Strand. The South Strand Optimist Club serves the Town of Surfside Beach, the communities of Burgess, St. James, Garden City Beach, Murrells Inlet, the Waccamaw Neck, and the City of Georgetown.
