KWANZAA CELEBRATION TONIGHT!

WHAT: Join one of the state’s most festive celebrations of Kwanzaa at this fundraiser for the 14th Annual Sankofa Festival! Renowned reggae group Mystic Vibrations will perform at this event which will feature light bites and cash bar. Donations are $20 at the entrance. WHEN: Friday, December 27, 2013 – 7 to 11 p.m. (The second day of Kwanzaa observing the principle of Self-Determination) WHERE: City Grill – 260 West Palmetto Street, Florence, SC 29501 (843) 407-1519 WHY: With its mission of Connecting to the Cultural Corridor, The Sankofa Festival has served the greater Florence region with a free family day of activities representing the African Diaspora for 13 years.
