7th Annual Local’s Appreciation Day

Myrtle Beach, SC – The Apache Pier will host the 7th Annual Local’s Appreciation Day on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 10 AM Till 5 PM. The day of fun features free admission to the pier for fishing, walking and entertainment, free popcorn and ice cream (while supplies last). Most of the events take place at the covered stage, at the center of the pier. Come visit local businesses from our area and see what they have to offer. Entertainment and schedule of events are subject to change. A South Carolina Fishing license is not required to fish from our pier. Bait, Tackle and fishing rods are available for purchase or rent in the pier store. With the longest wooden pier on the east coast, the Apache Pier is open to the public all year. Our amenities include a restaurant, bait & tackle shop, restrooms, and a lighted stage and dance floor in the center of the pier. Apache Pier is located at 9700 Kings Road in Myrtle Beach. Those attending the event may enter the pier through the main gate of the Apache Family Campground. Parking is free for the event.
