4/2/1966 – 7/5/2011 Scott Douglas Stevens, age 45, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Funeral Services will be 4:00 P.M. Friday, July 8 in the Chapel of Belk Funeral Home with interment in Grove Hill Cemetery. Born April 2, 1966 he is the son of Robert “Bob” E. and Judith “Judy” Ann Stevens. Scott was employed by Micro Precision Corporation working as a machinist supervisor. He loved racing and was very good at building race cars; he was also a Tech Man at Dillon Motor Speedway. Scott enjoyed hunting and was a member of Black Creek Hunting Club. Mr. Stevens was a member of I-20 Baptist Church. In Scott‘s kind and giving nature, he was an organ and tissue donor. Surviving along with his parents of Darlington are his wife, Stacey Graves Stevens, a daughter, Abby Stevens, both of the home, a sister, Whitney (Bubba) DeMaurice, their children Hannah and Matthew, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Louise Stevens. The Family will receive friends from 3-4 P.M. Friday, July 8 one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home, 149 S. Center Road.
