Fisher, Geraldine

Mrs. Fisher, 66, died January 30, 2011, at her residence in Darlington. She was born August 2, 1944, in Florence, SC, to Carl Amerson and Pauline Goodson Amerson. Survivors include: daughters, Jeanette Fisher, and Pamela J. Fuller; sons, James L. (Linda) Fisher, Jr, and Kelly C. (Melinda) Fisher Sr.; sisters, Doris Ann Jackson, Vivian Perkins, Betty L. Powell, Loretta (Gary) Boggs, and Vendetta (Donnie) Chapman; brothers, Eddie Carl Amerson, and Butch Amerson; grandchildren, Kassandra E. (Tim) McGarry, Kacey L. Fisher, and Kelly L. Fisher Jr.; cats, Demon, Spook, Cuddles, Corncob and Cooter; and a dog, Ashley. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, adoptive mother, Jeanette Ruthven; brother, Randy Strickland; and a dog, Shadow. A graveside service for Mrs. Geraldine Amerson Fisher, wife of the late James Lemuel Fisher, Sr., will be Saturday, February 5, 2011, at 2:00 pm, at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery, conducted by the Rev.
