Rowell , Ella Jane

Ella Jane Hunt Rowell, 61, died Monday, December 27, 2010, at McLeod Medical Center-Dillon. Born in Dillon County, June 18, 1949, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas Hunt and Bessie Mae Owens. She was the widow of the late George Rowell, and was a member of Calvary Assembly. Survivors include her son, George Michael (Jessica) Rowell of Latta; daughter, Ella (Jeffery) Lindsay of Dillon; 10 grandchildren, Thomas Franklin Rowell, Jr., Chelsea Cara Rowell, Amber Nicole Rowell, Brandon Michael Rowell, Jimmy Lindsay, George Lindsday, Raven Cierra Jackson, Brandon Riley Meekins, Franklin Leroy Meekins, and Hayeden Michaela Rowell. She was preceded in death by Thomas, Bobby, & George Rowell. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday in Calvary Assembly with burial in Pee Dee Church Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
