Mrs. Dixon, widow of Rayford Dixon, Sr., died Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Born in Darlington Co., SC, she was a daughter of the late Morgan Lee and Mintie Howell Hall. She was a member of Green Hill Church of God of Prophecy. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, DeWayne (Kathy) Dixon of Cheraw, SC, Rayford (Janice) Dixon, Jr. of Hartsville, SC,; daughters, Connie Dixon of Hartsville, SC, Diane Gathings (Craig Craft) of Kenansville, NC, Mary F. Dixon Sellards (Brett Calcutt) of Hartsville, SC, Lesley Dixon of Hartsville, SC; brothers, Leroy Hall of Effingham, SC, Bennie Hall of Darlington, SC, William Hall of Anna, IL; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lewis Hall and Claude Hall; sisters, Lillian Boan, Elizabeth Jan Thomas, Mary Ellen Padgett, Louise H. Boan , great-grandson, Aiden Sellards. Funeral services for Pearline Hall Dixon, 76, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Green Hill Church of God of Prophecy. The Rev. Jerry Gainey will officiate with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home is serving the family. The family will receive friends Friday, December 31, 2010 at the residence, 2209 Prospect Church Road.
