Panthers And Mecklenburg County In Talks Over Possibility Of Fans

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — With less than a month to go until the Panthers home and season opener there is still hope that fans could be allowed inside Bank of America Stadium.

Fans will not be allowed to tailgate this season but they might be able to view the games in person. Mecklenburg County public health director Gibbie Harris said during the county briefing today that they are talking with the Panthers about the possibilities of having fans attend games this year.

The Panthers open their season at home on September 13 against the Las Vegas Raiders. North Carolina will be in Phase Two until Sept. 11.
